Our Humans of 3Q series continues this week with Stella Grenn, Team Lead, based in Denver, Colorado. Stella joined 3Q in 2016, but left in 2018. Luckily for us, she returned! Get to know more about Stella and her journey with 3Q from 2016 to now.
Explain your current role at 3Q Digital in 3 sentences or less.
I am a team lead at 3QA. I manage responsibility delegation, help to keep accounts organized, and guide strategic direction. My accounts range widely in monthly spend, industry, and channel coverage.
Tell us about your past role at 3Q Digital.
Back in 2018 when I left the company, I was an account coordinator in the Burlington, VT office. I then moved cross country over the course of a month to find my new home in Colorado.
What inspired you to come back to 3Q Digital?
Leaving 3Q, I had every intention of re-applying once I had a more permanent living situation after I traveled around for a while. I didn’t want to keep the company on hold or put a time limit on my travels. I did apply for a few positions after settling in Colorado and none seemed on par with the value I received from 3Q. I reached out to my previous manager to see if there were any job openings and he was exceptionally helpful and pivotal in my return to the company!
What’s your favorite thing about working for 3Q?
Hard to pick one, there are many things. I greatly appreciate the opportunity to push beyond my role and pursue tangential projects that align with my passions. Being a part of the hiring committee, helping out with account audits and pitches (in the past), writing blog posts, and being a part of the productivity task force have all been incredibly rewarding.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love to snowboard, and that’s a big reason why I am in Colorado now! I also love live music, being close to the Red Rocks venue has been amazing.
